Description of the accommodation
Holiday flat with its own, shielded, 28 m² large veranda with a wonderful panoramic view of the coast! This detached house is slightly elevated, about 15 km south-west of the village of Selje. Enjoy the beautiful view from the wood-fired hot tub while taking a dip in the open air! Electric stove in the living area. TV with ASTRA1 reception. About 90 metres further along the shore of the fjord is a boat for hire: *18 foot boat (type Sting 535 Pro) with 50 hp 4-stroke engine (Evinrude) and chart plotter/GPS/echo sounder (Garmin echoMAP 50s) can be hired. Very good fishing area on site! Access to a covered filleting bank with running water and light. Life jackets are included. The salmon and trout river Åheimselva is 18 km away, the trout lake (300-700g) Berstadvatnet only 8 km away. Please note: It is not possible to moor your own boat on site. Parking 20 m from the house, but it is possible to drive up to the house on arrival and departure. The 2B in the bedroom can also be used as 1DB. Part of the house is rented out as holiday accommodation, the other part is occupied by the owner himself. Good starting point for hikes through the beautiful natural surroundings. Only about 40 metres from the house, a path leads through the forest up into the mountains, where you are rewarded with a wonderful view. Excursion destinations such as the old monastery of Selje from the 12th century, which can be reached in about 15 minutes by boat from the centre of Selje, or several attractive white sandy beaches are within easy reach. By car you can reach destinations such as the Vestkapp, the bird cliff Runde or the towns of Ålesund and Geiranger. The glaciers Briksdalsbreen and Kjenndalsbreen near Olden and Loen can also be reached from the holiday home.
